You can discover winter romance and snow magic at its best on winter or snowshoe hikes, cross-country skiing on 40 excellent kilometres of cross-country trails, or night tobogganing on the Gerlosstein with the longest natural toboggan run in Zillertal.
Ski Mayrhofen
Your luxurious apartment is located very close to the two mountain railways, which transport you comfortably and in a matter of minutes to the action mountain Penken and the pleasure mountain Ahorn. 139 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes and fine snow are waiting there to be conquered by you – each and every day.
Hintertuxer Glacier

Action mountain Penken is home to a particularly adrenaline-charged sensation: the Penken Park with eight areas, its own four-seater chairlift, international shape crew and much more besides.
Harakiri Piste
We present: the blackest slope in Zillertal - and perhaps the steepest slope in Austria. With a 78% gradient, the Harakiri downhill run is only for hard-nosed skiers and snowboarders – and also a real challenge for them.

Tobogganing
Less than 20 minutes by car from the Sissi Suites, you will find the Gerlossteinbahn – the longest natural toboggan run in Zillertal with a length of seven kilometres. Our tip: combine a nocturnal hike with jaunty tobogganing fun on one of the illuminated toboggan runs in the area around Mayrhofen.
Ski mountaineering
First the ascent, glorious panoramic moments and real challenges – then the descent over virgin powder snow slopes: when you go ski touring, you’ll get very close to the mountain. And experience winter from its most exciting side. Around Mayrhofen, numerous tours are waiting to be mastered by you.
